D1: Insights from Needs Finding
Through this documentation activity, we hope to gather insights that students individually derived from the need-finding session, and share these insights back with the class.
You are asked to:
● identify three needs that you discussed at the needs-finding session.
● explain which need was the most interesting to you and why.
● for the most interesting need,
(a) provide a citation that validates or provides a different perspective of that need, and describe what you learned from that citation.
(b) describe the setting(s) of that need (e.g., long term care, home care, emergency department, primary care, etc).
(c) select which goal categories and innovation area(s) the need falls under.
● name five human values (single word or short phrase) that you identified during the needs finding session.

form. Please note that your insights will be shared with the entire class and with the partner organizations.
Access to Google Gemini Pro
During Week 5, we will be using Google Gemini Pro during the AI tutorials. If you do not have Gemini Pro and want access, one way is to complete a few modules of the
Google AI Professional Certificate through Coursera. You should be receiving access information via email this week.
